Little Golden Mantled Flying Fox

22 Hypo, 45 Pumilus, 0 Vamp and 25 Giganteus!

Little Golden Mantled Flying Fox

You are most like a Little Golden Mantled Flying Fox (Pteropus pumilus).  Little golden mantled flying foxes are loaners, which tend to squabble with their neighbors.  They get along well with members of other species, though, and can be quite friendly, especially when food is involved.

Little Golden Mantled Flying Foxes are native to the Phillipines, where they eat a variety of fruit, flowers, and leaves.  The are one of the smaller flying foxes, being slightly smaller than the average person's hand. Flying foxes are an important part of the rainforest ecosystem.  They pollinate plants, and disperse seeds, helping to regrow the forest.

You are here alone again
In your sweet insanity

All too calm, you hide yourself from reality

Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty?
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely

The fields are filled with desires
All voices crying for freedom

But all in vain they will fade away
There's only you to answer you, forever

In blinded mind you are singing
A glorious hallelujah

The distant flutter of angels

They're all too far, too far to reach for you

I am here alone again
In my sweet serenity

Hoping you will ever find me in any place

I will call it solitude when all my songs fade in vain

In my voice, far away to eternity

XIII- Roxas, The Key of Destiny
Sora’s nobody and Axel’s best friend, Roxas is a powerful member. He is somehow able to control light regardless of nobodies’ disconnections from light and darkness, due to his ties with Sora, and his weapons are two keyblades. The first is the Oathkeeper symbolising Sora’s memories of Kairi, and the second is the Oblivion, which means the same for Sora’s memories of Riku. He faces Riku twice, during which he gets beaten the second time after Riku accepts the darkness and uses it to overpower him. Prior to the second battle, he left the organization to find out about the mysterious boy who kept appearing in his dreams and was known by the other members. He also wanted to find out why this boy wielded similar weapons to his own, and why he was never told anything about him yet everyone else in the organization knew. After being taken to a virtual Twilight Town by Riku because of the commands of DiZ, he lost all his memories of the organization and was kept safe, with fake memories of a life in Twlight Town. Soon he gets his dreams back and encounters not only Axel, but a psychological encounter with Kairi and even meeting Naminé, her nobody. He soon remembers all that happened in Organization XIII, and gets told by DiZ about the boy he never knew about. This boy turned out to be Sora, and soon he merged with his nobody to become a whole. Then he faced Sora following the death of Axel in The World That Never Was, and was beaten, yet merging with Sora once again. As the only living member of the organization, he lives within Sora, living as Naminé does, as she continues to live within Kairi. His name is an anagram of Sora with an ‘X’ added on, and his nobodies are Samurai nobodies.
And now make your own Quiz!
Millions of people will take it - its really easy and fun!

Wow.. I just can't sleep...

It always amazes me when songs can call so close to home for me. To those who know me well, you'll understand why

No Where

can you hear the calling of the raving wind and water?
we just keep dreaming of the land 'cross the river
we are always on the way to find the place we belong
wandering to no where, we're paddling
down the raging sea

who can cross over such raving wind and water?
on the rolling boat we sit, shivering with coldness
come by an island, come by a hillock,
it's just another place, we paddle on
down the raging sea

but in one morning we'll see the sun
bright shining morning dew singing
they who will search will find the land
of evergreen
search for the light

can you hear the calling of the raving wind and water?
we just keep paddling down the sea, up the river
no destination, but we are together
in the silent sadness we're paddling
down the raging sea
down to no where

Key of the Twilight

Come with me in the twilight of a summer night for awhile
Tell me of a story never ever told in the past

Take me back to the land
Where my yearnings were born
The key to open the door is in your hand
Now fly me there

Fanatics find their heaven in never ending storming wind
Auguries of destruction be a lullaby for rebirth

Consolations, be there
In my dreamland to come
The key to open the door is in your hand
Now take me there

I believe in fantasies invisible to me
In the land of misery I'm searchin' for the sign
To the door of mystery and dignity
I'm wandering down, and searchin' down the secret sun

Come with me in the twilight of a summer night for awhile
Tell me of a story never ever told in the past

Take me back to the land
Where my yearnings were born
The key to open the door is in your hand
Now take me there
to the land of twilight

The World

You are here, alone again
In your sweet insanity
All too calm, you hide yourself from reality
Do you call it solitude? Do you call it liberty?
When all the world turns away to leave you lonely

The fields are filled with desires
All voices crying for freedom
But all in vain they will fade away
There's only you to answer you, forever

In blinded mind you are singing
A glorious hallelujah
The distant flutter of angels
They're all too far, too far to reach for you

I am here alone again
In my sweet serenity
Hoping you will ever find me in any place
I will call it solitude when all my songs fade in vain
In my voice, far away to eternity

**I'll try to actually add the music to the words in a later post

Your Q Score is: 11

The Q score ideally should be as small as possible, indicating maximum agreement among elements. However, even a tiny Q score may not mean optimal functioning, since all four elements may in fact be relatively undeveloped.

Your Primary Mythical Creature

Water Types
The main strength of the Water types is feeling. The second element indicates the most probable focus for this emotional expression.

Mermaid
Water with Air

Astrologically associated with Pisces and the Twelfth House

Mermaid types are warm and caring in a passive, receptive way. They are given to daydreaming and to contemplation, a combination that can make them seem curiously absent and fey. They are among the most unworldly of all the types. Despite this they have a strong ability for clear, rational thinking that can be startling. They seem to have a deep, intuitive understanding of the oneness of the universe. They have a desire to help the world at large and are acutely aware of and sensitive to suffering. This is partly because they do not recognize the customary boundaries between people, other living things, time, space, this world and the Otherworld. They are frequently psychic. They can be brilliantly original and highly creative. They are usually regarded by others as benign eccentrics or as plain weird.

Your Shadow Creature

Earth Types
All the Earth types have problems relating to productivity and stability. The weakest element indicates the main focus of these problems.

Wodwose
Earth and Fire

This shadow is beset by inertia and a feeling of hopelessness and stagnation. They are prone to depression linked to apparently insuperable odds. They exhibit an attitude of defeat that is betrayed by their fatalism and pessimism. They often find themselves trapped in a rut of grinding routine. They have no energy or sense of direction. They often alienate others because of their negativity and narrow outlook and because they feel anger and resentment toward them. Passive aggression is used to good effect. They are self-neglectful of their physical needs although they may binge on unhealthy foods and substances. The biggest obstacle of weak Fire is to overcome anger and aggression; the biggest obstacle of weak Earth is to overcome self-centeredness and greed.

Today, on Black Friday, Trevor's bag was gone thru while he was at work and our money was stolen. Its already apparent that it was a fellow employee who did this. The only problems are 1) Proving they did it, and 2) Getting the money back.

Our request is for any and all good energies, weather they be healings for Trev's nerves or good in general for us to be able to pay our bills in time come the first of the month.

Dreams and Oddities

  • Nov. 20th, 2008 at 12:41 PM

I've been having a recurring dream as of late;

I'm sitting in the bed while Trev is across the room, which is 2- 3 times bigger than normal and quite overgrown with plant-life (actual plant growth in the floor, walls and ceiling), and before I go to get under the comforter, i notice its slightly moving. I go to lift the edge and see dozens of spiders from all around the world, ranging from little common house spiders to goliath tarantulas. They move as one, weaving a web. Thicker and thicker, they continue to weave. I try to tell Trev, but he doesn't see them and thinks I'm too tired and getting delirious. They go on and on til they finally stop and I see that they have made a funnel web and are all watching me from around the edges of the opening as if to say, "We made it for you, now take what we made." Now, anyone who knows me well knows that I am deathly afraid of spiders, although they appear to me all the damned time. And as expected, I recoil from them and wind up waking up.

My question is this:

Does anyone have any clue as to what this could even remotely mean? I've had this dream almost every day for the past two months and its beginning to wear me down. Anything is better than nothing at all.

I'll tell you no lies.

Ask anything you want, no matter how strange, personal, offensive, or inflammatory it may seem.  Ask me anything boring, mundane, silly, stupid, crazy, or weird.  I'm feeling generous, so no matter what, I will answer it.
But, as Dartaganon says, I will not sugar coat the answer.  There are no boundaries.  Be careful what you ask though, as you might not like the answer.

The comments are screened.

Oh, if I don't have your email, include it with your question so I can reply off-site if you'd like..

He could not take it in, and his terror for the others was paramount. He glanced over his shoulder and saw a mass of people moving, flares of green light, two pairs of people on broomsticks soaring off into the distance, but he could not tell who they were ---

"Hagrid, we've got to go back, we've got to go back!" he yelled over the thunderous roar of the engine, pulling out his wand, ramming Hedwig's cage onto the floor, refusing to believe that she was dead. "Hagrid, TURN AROUND!"

"My job's ter get you there safe, Harry!" bellowed Hagrid, and he opened the throttle.

The Harlequin

The Harlequin

You are a mystery, a jack-of-all-trades. You have the king's ear, but also listen to murmurings of the common folk. You believe in the value of force and also literature. Truly you are the puzzlement of the age.

Meme borrowed from Dartaganon

1. What is under the Masks?
A very scared, hurt child who hides form the world in a dark room

2. What is the truth of you?
I've had so many masks for so many people that I don't know that there was any truth to begin with

3. What is the truth of your spirituality?
I'm still currently learning of my self and I don't think I can answer this properly yet

4. What is the truth of your religion?
My religion is skewed at best; I still carry bits of Catholic with me, but I'm most comfortable with Paganism. Most recently in my life I've been learning the ways of Shamanism and I believe I've truely found happiness there

5. What is the truth of what you think other people think about?
This can go two ways; A) People who truely know me, and B) People who think they know me

A
They don't quite know what to make of me, my emotions always bouncing around and my attitude being great one moment and horrible the next

B
They think I'm a quiet, passive idiot. One who can't think for myself and is an appendage of Trevor rather than an actual living, breathing human

6. What do you truly think of yourself?
I've done too many things in this world to deserve the good things I have. I still can't understand whe people do nice things for me with 'just because' as the reason

7. What is The truth that guides you?
I don't know that I have a one truth that guides my life. I have some rules that I try to abide by from day to day living but as of yet I'm at a loss for words

The Serpents {Followers of Set}

7 Assamite, 5 Brujah, 10 Gangrel, 4 Malkavian, 6 Nosferatu, 9 Toreador, 9 Tremere, 4 Ventrue, 2 Lasombra, 6 Tzimisce, 14 Setites, 4 Giovanni and 10 Ravnos!

The wickeldy seductive Followers of Set{Setites} are a vampire clan that stands at odds with all the others. They follow the Ancient Egyptian pagan doctrine and believe the Desert God Set to be the first vampire. They wish to ensnare all the other clans under their power. Indeed, they will use all the means of the modern nights to do so. Be it drugs, sex, power, love, weapons or any other desire, the Setites will supply it, for a cost. They crave power above all others. They see the other clans as weak and barely regard them as vampires as the other clans believe the biblical Caine to be the first vampire. Setites know how to get attention. They are impeccable dressers and they speak with a gold plated tongue. They know what people want and they know how to get it.

For you to be a Follower of Set means that you are a manipulator of great skill. You realize that everyone may have a use to you someday so you try not to alienate anyone. You use subtle means to slowly control those around you. You befriend, manipulate, control and dominate those around you. You have no empathetic care towards others but you do have a great sense of empathic awareness in knowing what people want. With these traits you have the power to be a great leader or one of the most dangerous vampires to walk before the sun.

Hello LJ world!

I'm in a bit of a situation where I get a type of migrane that lingers for about a week and a half and it decided to start up today..
I tried to do a self-fix but just managed to make it worse  =_=
And so I  was going to request some healing energies pushed my way.

hurt

thats all i can say to describe it

today was supposed to be the first official 'thing' to say that me and trevor are really and truely gonna be getting married and after so many had said theyd be sure to be there, only 3 people showed up. quite frankly i dont care about anyones reasons for not being there, at least not now; a few people had called ahead and told us they couldnt make it, and i thank those of you who did so.
and of course i do remember those who had already said, days ago, that theyd be indisposed so really this has nothing to do with them.

But, to those who had actually said theyd be there, no question.. I'm not going to be holding a grudge, but I'm not going to lie and say I'm not going to be sore for a few days. I mean, c'mon.. How often does one get to get married to their one true love?

I'll reiterate, yes I'm going to be a pissy bitch for a few days, but no.. it won't last past the weekend at most.

Fairest

"There is beauty in death."

Fairest

Thou, queen, art the fairest in the land;

but o'er the hills, in the shade

a beauty lays to bed,

she's lovelier by far - so take her head.

This story concerns a breathtaking young man who dreamed of the love of a beautiful girl in his village. One night he made a special cake from a recipe he learned from his grandmother, and he waited in the dark for a faerie to come and take it.

The door opened; a dark tall faerie came in. He said to the faerie, “Not for you,” but his arrogance failed him; he shouldn’t have spoken to her. So he sat and waited a little longer. The door opened again; a loathly hag stepped in. The hag reached out her hand for the cake, but the young man slapped her hand away and said with anger, “Not for you.” His wrath got the better of him; he shouldn’t have touched her. So he sat and waited a little longer, and the door opened; a lady of unearthly beauty and grace stepped in, and he could say nothing, so stunned was he.

And the lady said, “For me,” and took his cake.

She stayed with him after that, this lady. She granted his wishes but somehow they were always twisted. He wished for money, and soon he married an ugly old woman, in the hopes that she would die and leave him nothing. The old woman proved healthier than he could imagine and was cruel and mean. The youth turned to his Fae lady again and wished the old woman dead.

True to her word, the Fae lady brought the plague to the town and the old woman died – so too did the young man’s sweetheart. He gained the mean old woman’s riches – but his love was dead – and so he wished himself dead and fell into a deep slumber.

He awoke in his coffin, buried six feet under, and as he began to beat upon the wood in his face, he heard a sweet, melodic voice say, “For me.” If anyone were to dig up his coffin, they would find nothing but dried leaves and stones.

This is the way of the Fairest. They take what and whom they will take, and they will have their fun first. They are to be loved and admired and they have right to treat that love how they will. The few who try to rise above that pettiness are something to be admired. They won their beauty very fairly.

Their flight from through the Hedge was the hardest to accomplish. The world they were a part of was hedonistic and very, very enchanting. It was a beautiful world filled to the brim with pain that was sweet and cruelty that was pleasant. They were surrounded by creatures thousands of times lovelier than anything on Earth. They had to focus all of their being on remembering what it was to be plain and to walk among the ordinary.

So, those who do leave are those with enough sense of self to abandon ecstasy, to love themselves and practice poetic justice. Theirs is a lesson in Pride and Wrath. Their dreams are filled with hellish beauty. Radiant blossoms become drenched in blood. Hair from a lover’s face becomes strands of barbed wire slicing their smiles away. And when they wake they don’t quite know if their screaming in anger or bliss.
